Rhenium has several unique offerings. They are primarily a salon, so you can get your hair done. They just opened a head spa, and they have an infrared sauna, as well as standard massages, facials, waxing, and brows/lashes of most spas. You could easily schedule a half day here utilizing these services.

🌿 Atmosphere & Extras
The spa is located in the gorgeous Ensign building in Simsbury. As an extra bonus, after your spa treatment, you can head upstairs and eat at the restaurant. The spa is located around the back of the building and downstairs, easy to find if you follow the signs.
This is an in-and-out day spa, so there aren't any amenities here such as pools, lockers, or showers, but there is an infrared sauna
Booking is easily done online through their website (of course you can call if you prefer). However, it was really tricky to book multiple services at once due to the availability of the clinicians on certain days.
The atmosphere overall is a unique bohemian vibe. The treatment room smelled good, had dim cozy lighting and was very inviting. The music was relaxing for a facial, and any outside noise was decently muffled and not distracting to the treatment.
The bathroom was not updated and could have been cleaner (I realize it is a hair salon, but it should still be swept or vacuumed.) The waiting room and relaxation room was all one in the same, which isn't an issue. I was offered water, which was a nice touch.
The treatment bed was comfortable and heated. The service itself was excellent, I had steam, gua sha, hot towels, and ample massage - my scalp, face, shoulders and arms all had wonderful massages. The clinician Jenna was very sweet and she really took her time. The service did not include extractions, which I don't mind, as it seemed to be more of a luxury spa-like service rather than a medical treatment-like service.
