🌿 Atmosphere & Extras

Booking is easy and can be done right online!

The spa is located in Branford, and despite the name of the spa, it was not next to the water. It is located in a charming older home which has been remodeled to accommodate the spa services. There is light traffic noise but it was easy to tune out and the music playing was soothing and appropriate. The treatment beds were heated.

This spa has a few unique features. It is a day spa that could be considered almost a resort spa, as you are treated to a locker with sandals, a robe, and towel; there is one bathroom/changing room combination that has a shower.

First impression: I was directed up to a waiting room, eventually I was offered water and shown my locker for my belongings.

The facial started off nice, but as it went on it felt rushed. She was using a lot of extras like ice globes, but would use them for a couple seconds and moved on to the next thing. She also left the room twice during the facial, and I could hear her serving other customers in the hallway, which I found to be unprofessional.

The clinician left multiple times while doing my nails to help other clients. Perhaps they were short staffed, (although there was a front desk person and someone else who appeared to be a helper in addition to the clinician), but it detracted from the experience.
