Delamar Southport is a hotel spa, but with a curated, boutique take. While very similar to the West Hartford location, the Southport location had more amenities such as a Sauna and Steam room and was slightly larger.
The building wasn't extremely difficult to find, but the streets and buildings around the spa are a bit maze-like. However, the GPS took me straight there on the first attempt. Parking was a bit tight, but I went on a week day, so at busier times it may be harder to find close spots.

There is a relaxation room separate from the checkout area/entrance, and it includes flavored water, tea, and snacks.

Overall the spa looked brand new, and was immaculately clean. It smelled really nice as soon as you walked in - a woodsy or amber type of scent. The staff and providers were really friendly and immediately helped me as soon as I walked in. The esthetician for the facial was really knowledgeable and explained what products she was using at each step.
There were no extras such as combs or grooming items; as this is a hotel boutique, most of their clients have these items in their rooms. They do provide plush robes and sandals.
The treatment chairs were heated and comfortable. The music, instrumental, was decent. Sometimes I could hear doors or talking in the hallway into the treatment room, they may benefit from a white noise machine in the hallway.
As far as treatment reactions - I received both the micropuncture and radiofrequency - I had no pain or redness or downtime after. Other people may be more sensitive, so this doesn't mean that everyone will be the same, but for me personally the treatments were relaxing. My skin was very glowy and plump, I thought the results were excellent.
There was some upselling of products after, but overall it was an excellent experience. The spa was very quaint, private, and cozy feeling.

Here there are a few high-quality treatments available. I enjoyed the sauna and steam room all to myself. The extras were nice, some snacks would be good - or even better - a service menu to order food. It was easy to book and I was very satisfied.
