Delamar Spa

This is a cozy spa located in the Delamar Hotel. Downstairs is the fabulous restaurant, The Artisan. This spa will have the bespoke nomenclature of a "Boutique Day Spa." This is because the spa is so cute and small, it resembles a boutique. Although it is located in a hotel, it does not have the amenities of most hotel spas, and therefore I will not classify it as one.
A small spa is not a bad thing and doesn't result in an automatic deduction of points. The purpose of a spa is to suit your relaxation needs, so a compact one might be perfect for you. This one would be best suited for a rainy day, a short stay in West Hartford, or before an event at the Artisan restaurant.

The decor is very classy and elegant, with soft spa-like classical music playing. The first room you enter is the gift shop/check-in area, then there is one bathroom and one co-ed relaxation room.

The quality of the services was excellent. The therapists were friendly and personable, and the service rooms were cozy. My skin looked amazing after the facial and the extractions did not hurt at all. She was very knowledgeable about skincare.

Standout Feature: a very cozy, boutique setting with high-quality services.

Small snacks, high-quality tea and infused water was available. Robes and sandals were provided.

A boutique-style spa with a small selection of services that they specialize in. You'll see many types of facials, massages, and nail services.
Booking was simple and could be completed online.
The customer service was excellent, as I had made a mistake with my timing of services and they accommodated me so I could have both services done.
Gratuity was not included.
No extras, such as saunas, showers, steam rooms, etc. The size of the facility cannot be changed so that would have to be taken into consideration when you book your next spa visit. There was an instance where I waited to use the bathroom, and the relaxation room was a bit noisy at times.
