Claim to Fame: Overall, this spa is one of the leaders for a cozy, quiet, and relaxing spa day
🌿 Atmosphere & Extras
Features of the spa include indoor and outdoor saltwater pools, whirlpool, sauna, and steam room. Herbal infused water, teas, coffee and snacks are available. There is a separate restaurant to have lunch, called Salt.
Overall, the spa is very clean, quiet, and relaxing. It's a cozy size to accommodate a smaller number of people, which is great for a more relaxing type of visit. Other spas like Canyon Ranch (not in Connecticut) and Norwich Inn Spa are much busier and have a more bustling type of setting. This spa appears to be fairly recently remodeled, clean, and updated. The treatment chair is heated and they provide plush, luxurious blankets.
Cons: The amenities are available for the entire resort and the pool can get crowded at times. The relaxation room can get busy Saturday mornings, and is co-ed.
Appointments are booked over the phone, with email as an effective way to ask questions or initiate bookings. The staff were very responsive.
